Welcome to DarasVPN (the “App”), operated by Daras Technologies OU. Your privacy is extremely important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how data is handled in order to provide our service, and what data we do not collect.

1. Data Collection Principles

DarasVPN follows a strict data minimization policy. The App does not require account registration for basic use and does not collect personal identity information beyond what is strictly necessary to operate the service.

2. VPN Data (No-Log Policy) & Infrastructure

DarasVPN operates its own proprietary global network infrastructure designed to ensure stringent data privacy standards. We follow a strict no-log policy. This means:

  • We do NOT log or store browsing history, traffic destinations, DNS queries, or data content.
  • We do NOT inspect, analyze, or modify VPN traffic payloads.
  • We do NOT sell or share VPN usage data with third parties.

3. Server Connections

When you connect to DarasVPN, your device establishes an encrypted connection to our servers. As part of normal operation, our servers may process limited technical information, including your IP address during an active connection, connection timestamps, and application version. This information is used solely to provide, maintain, and secure the service and prevent abuse.

4. Crash Reporting & Analytics

To improve application stability and performance, DarasVPN integrates standardized third-party diagnostic and analytics tools, including Sentry and Firebase Analytics. This information:

  • Does not contain personal or identifiable user data.
  • Does not include VPN traffic, browsing activity, or connection content.
  • Is used exclusively for debugging, crash reporting, and service improvement.

5. App Permissions

DarasVPN does not request access to Contacts, Location data, Device identifiers, or Microphone/Local storage. Camera permission is requested strictly and only when you explicitly choose to scan a QR code for VPN configuration.

6. Advertising & Tracking

DarasVPN does not display advertisements, does not integrate advertising SDKs, and does not perform cross-app or cross-site tracking.
